As you will be aware, the AASW has introduced concerning changes to the social work education and training standards. We continue to believe that these changes threaten the industrial conditions of social work educators and the quality of social work education. The Australian Council of Heads of Social Work Education (ACHSWE) has also voiced serious concerns about the new standards.
This meeting will provide an update on the campaign, set out next steps and how you can support efforts to protect the quality of social work education in Australia.
